ONSITE3D was engaged to provide 3D scanning, drafting and fabrication services for the Instrument Air Upgrade at a polyethelene plant in Central Alberta.
This included off-site prefabrication of coated spools and structural steel for the client crew who were performing the onsite construction. The project included piping and structural steel for the vent silencer, dry air receiver and area around the diesel day tank.
Deliverables included Advanced Construction Work Package, pre-fabricated spools, pre-fabricated structural steel, QAQC documention, IFC redline drawing package. Because of the accuracy of the 3D scanning, all spools and structural steel fit with no fitment issues or rework
