ONSITE3D was engaged to design and fabricate more efficient pigging spools for their OTSGs and HRSGs at the client’s SAGD facility.

 

The new design aimed to clean additional passes of their steam generators simultaneously, improving from the current capacity. Additionally, they required a movable structure for supporting the pig launcher and hoses. We conducted 3D scanning and designed the pigging spools, supports, and storage bins.

 

Utilizing our robotic welding technology, we fabricated the components and subsequently delivered the completed spools to site.
